So, I ask myself who these kids are in the picture above. In fact, I have no idea. I "borrowed" the picture from the headquarters website. Cute bunch of little ones, sure, but who are they? No clue.
Same thing happens around town. These kids belong to someone, but who? Why are they here, now? They're all over the place, and not just in our town. They're everywhere. Why should we care?
The kids who cross our paths every day aren't just "someone's" kids. They're God's kids. As His servants, as His followers, it's our responsibility to help these young people learn about the love and grace that He offers to all who will accept. Sure, it's their parents' responsibility first, but look around. Do you think many of them are really getting it from their parents? Are their parents getting the help they need from us?
